Welcome to my latest scheme. I am once again dreaming big and using messy action over perfect planning.

If you know me personally, you know that this is on brand for me to start blogging about a project before finding my footing. But I am eager to get the ball rolling.

My dream includes producing LGBTQIA pop-up events in Syracuse NY, that encourage tourism from folks around the state. I find myself traveling around the state for these kinds of events, and after talking to queer organizers in the CNY area, I see there is an opportunity. But how to tap into the potential, I am still figuring out.

I also want to produce merchandise that correlates to the events, our brand values, but can also be a stand-alone piece. Ideally, the merch will grow larger than Upstate NY and drive awareness to the brand and future events.

That’s all I’ll allude to for now. I am in the research phase, soon to be synthesizing my findings. I say I am not into “perfect planning,” but this is a passion project, and I want to have a strong foundation before taking many risks.
